Pink Parking
In Switzerland, traffic officials are using a different tactic to stop men parking in designated womens parking spots - they are painting the parking spaces Pink !
Bern council, who have had many complaints about men using parking spaces reserved for women, are painting these spaces Pink.
The idea is that men will be too embarassed to park in a pink spot.
Bjorn Rohrbach, a director of a car park in Bern was quoted as saying “Legally we can’t stop men from using womens parking spaces. And telling them off didnt work either…”
