Pink Vogue

Just last week my fashion conscious was stuck as Alice in Winter Wonderland, but with my 1AM notification from Sak’s Fifth Avenue of the arrival of their S.P.R.I.N.G. collection and upon seeing the new 3.1 Phillip Lim Yellow Pashli Satchel, instantly I was hit with a little S.P.R.I.N.G. F.E.V.E.R.?! I admit I’ve never been a huge fan of the Spring season (or Winter for that matter) I’m much more of a Summer and Fall kind of girl. I am very much looking forward to this year’s Spring fashion!

My forecast for S.P.R.I.N.G. fashion is definitely the quintessential floral pieces and accents, knee-high gladiator boots and sandals, retro sunglasses in full effect, the thigh high split is here to stay as well (we seen plenty of that at the Golden Globes!) and a mix between hard and soft. Luxe leather jackets, destroyed denim jackets and vests paired with lace and chiffon feminine frocks, which is by far my fav part of S.P.R.I.N.G. fashion!

And of course S.P.R.I.N.G. wouldn’t be Spring without a {POP!} of color, as I see Coral make-up palettes being extremely “IN” this season! As of now my signature Spring fragrance will be Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday (which was an unexpected Christmas gift) it’s sweet, tropical and flirty. It almost puts me in the mind of my usual Spring fragrance Escada Marine Grove, but with a hidden undertone that I can’t quite put my finger on. True to its creator it has a bit of whimsical mystery.
